Our Mayan Hammocks are hand-woven by adult artisans in a cottage industry environment to our fibre and colour specification, using genuine nylon called mayan silk. Hammocks Online Australia nylon hammocks are exceptionally strong and durable. Our Mayan-Silk Hammocks have good resistance to abrasion and UV exposure and will outlast all other inferior synthetic fibres, including cotton plant fibre by up to 4-5 times.
